SolarWorld modules rated highest for long-term reliabilityDienstag, 02.04.2013 09:42
Japanese photovoltaics magazine PVeye evaluated a range of manufacturers, with SolarWorld modules leading the field in the long-term reliability category.
According to a survey of photovoltaics magazine PVeye, a long life cycle and reliability are among the most important criteria when choosing a module manufacturer – even more important than module efficiency and price.
The editors then evaluated the various manufactures in categories buyers considered relevant. SolarWorld took first place in the long-term reliability category. With 25 of 28 possible points, the leading German module manufacturer received the highest rating.
Kokichi Dohi, General Importer for SolarWorld in Japan, views this as confirmation of his choice of manufacturer: “We are very happy that SolarWorld modules have received the top ranking for module long-term reliability from PVeye. We are confident that SolarWorld modules’ quality will suit the Japanese PV market perfectly.”
Max von Romatowski, Managing Director of SolarWorld Asia Pacific, adds: “SolarWorld is very pleased that not only our customers, but also the technical press in Japan recognize us as quality leaders. This will enable further and faster growth in the quality-conscious Japanese market.”
The full results of the manufacturer evaluation are available in the Special PVeye March 2013 Issue.
