DWS Investment GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany informed us according to section 21, para. 1 of the WpHG that on 27 January 2009 its percentage of voting rights in SolarWorld AG, Bonn, Germany, crossed above the threshold of 5 % and amounts to 5.09 % (5,683,827 voting rights) as per this date.
