The intelligent storage system

Consume, store or feed into the grid: the new battery system from SolarWorld enables you to have solar power  anytime. This increases your self-consumption and reduces your electricity bills. A meter measures the electricity flowing between the grid and your home. If more electricity is generated than is being used, the system charges the battery. When more power is needed, the battery feeds additional energy into the home’s electrical system.

In poor weather, at night or if there are power outages, the battery system in combination with the special Sunny Backup charge controller switches to battery operation and closes the supply gap. Both new and existing SolarWorld solar power systems can be easily expanded with the battery system. You can monitor your solar power consumption and production using the Suntrol® display softwarefrom you computer, iPad or the iPod Touch from SolarWorld.
