A roof has to protect the house and reliably generate energy. With this goal in mind, the SolarWorld engineers came up with the Energyroof plus. They created a roof system that combines the robustness of a conventional roof covering with effective energy generation – capable of withstanding loads up to 2.4kN/m² and rain-proof.
SolarWorld’s Energyroof plus impresses with proven technology and new laminate format. The new SolarWorld Compact mono black laminates now offer even greater versatility. Weather-resistant EPDM rubber mounting gaskets form a tight seal with the high-quality aluminum mounting system, protecting your roof as well as the electrical connections from all kinds of weather conditions.
Intelligent design
In a conventional roof substructure, aluminum profiles only act as the foundation for the solar laminates. In the Energyroof plus system, they function as a second level to guide any dripping water during heavy rain and extreme wind conditions.
Self-cleaning
Clean solar laminates are indispensable for an effective solar power system. As a result of the special glass surface and the incline of the roof, most of the dirt that could lower output is rinsed off.
Details of the aesthetic
The solar laminates of the Energyroof plus were designed to create a roof of uniform color, homogenous in appearance.
Nicely sealed
Good connections are also able to make it through heavy storms. The laminates of the Energyroof plus are attached with rubber clamps made of EPDM. EPDM was developed by the automotive industry and is used for many things including to make the bottom of garden ponds leak-proof for many decades. Their other attributes, like their ozone and temperature resistance, make them the ideal solution for weather-proof sealing and attachment of the Energyroof plus.
