SolarWorld AG at Intersolar 2011
The quality leader presents new and application-optimized products for end customers and installers – warranty again improved
At Intersolar 2011, the world’s largest trade fair for solar technology, SolarWorld AG presented itself as innovative as well as customer and service oriented. The focus this year is on the topics of application orientation and solar power for self-consumption. SolarWorld AG is one of the few manufacturers at the exhibition that offers quality made in Germany – and does so along the entire value chain. Just recently the group inaugurated Europe’s largest module production in Freiberg/Saxony. Also the major sub-suppliers for SolarWorld products have their production facilities in Germany. At Intersolar 2011, SolarWorld will be displaying Sunfix Aero, a newly developed low-ballast flat roof system. In the area of high quality roof-integrated solutions the company will show Sundeck, an in-roof solution with high quality modules from German production. The integrated photovoltaic system meets the highest standards of design and engineering. In order to further improve customer service, installers of SolarWorld solar power plants can with immediate effect make use of the new Suntool 2.0. With this new planning software for solar professionals solar arrays for almost any type of roof configuration can be planned with just a few mouse clicks. The quality leader in the solar industry is also meeting the current trend towards e-mobility with a new and practice-oriented product: As an addition to its tried and tested SunCarport for cars SolarWorld AG now offers SunShed, the high quality variant for the parking and charging of e-bikes. The SunCharger, shown at a German exhibition for the first time, is also among the newly developed SolarWorld AG products that meet the customers’ wish for a green lifestyle. The SunCharger is a solar power plant the size of a mobile phone supplying energy for many portable consumers. Another exhibition highlight is the new and extendable SunPac battery system by SolarWorld that stores solar power for self-consumption at night thus cutting your electricity bill. A second SunPac can be installed in parallel. In terms of service the German industry leader is introducing new, comprehensive warranty conditions for all SolarWorld standard modules. Thus, product warranty has been enhanced to ten years backdated to January 1, 2011, among other things. At the SolarWorld exhibition booth in Halle A.1 Stand 181 the Elektra One electric aircraft developed by the engineer Calin Gologan will also be on display. With the help of SolarWorld solar technology emission-free and almost soundless flying will become a reality. In mid-July Elektra One will participate in the NASA Green Flight Challenge in the USA.
