SolarWorld AG proposes higher dividend of 20 Cents per share
Increase for the third year in succession
16-03-07v3Against the backdrop of profit growth by 150 per cent to 130 million € and of sales growth by 45 per cent to 515 million € in 2006 SolarWorld AG wants to increase the dividend again. The Supervisory Board and the Board of Management have decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting on 24 May 2007 a dividend of 20 Eurocents per share for the fiscal year just ended. In the previous year 12.5 Eurocents per share were distributed to shareholders. Subject to the approval of the AGM SolarWorld AG will thus increase the dividend payment in the third year in succession. The Group has so far allowed its shareholders to participate in the business success of the company in every full fiscal year since the IPO in 1999. SolarWorld AG attaches a high priority to the dividend continuity in its relations with shareholders.
