All-around charger receives design award

Now it’s official. Not only can the SunCharger do a lot, but it also looks good. The device has received the 2012 Red Dot Award. The smallest solar power plant from SolarWorld charges cell phones and digital cameras from various manufacturers using grid or solar power and also serves as a backup battery for on-the-go use.

Monocrystalline solar cells are integrated into the front of the device; opening the sliding mechanism nearly doubles the surface area. A standard European plug is located on the back, which makes it possible to use the device in varioust countries. To view the charge level, just press a button – the only one on the device.
